The Wales Pension Partnership (WPP) has total assets worth £22.5bn (as at 31 March 2023) of which £15.7bn (70%) has already been pooled. The majority of the pooled liquid assets sit within the sub funds below, the passive investments (£5.1bn) are effectively within the pool but are held by the respective WPP authorities in the form of insurance policies.
The WPP is in the process of establishing investment programmes for its Private Market asset classes. The Infrastructure and Private Credit investment programmes have been launched with the Private Equity investment programme due to launch later this year. No assets have been transitioned into these programmes as at 31 March 2023.
